Fat chance, as I was once an atheist and was also an insufferable piece of shit. I consider both religious nutcases and pretentious atheists to be more or less the same. Both think they're special because of what they believe in, both misunderstand history, both call others morons they disagree with, and both deny facts and truths.
The religious nutcases misunderstand evolution while the smug atheists ignore the positive contributions and effects of religion. But you won't listen anyway.
I have no idea why that’s the case. I have many good friends that are atheists. The atheists you’re encountering don’t know how to respect our religion.

The whole anti-science thing was a myth created in the 1800s and its called Conflict Thesis and it was has been disputed by historians today. If you think Christianity set humanity back for decades, it's a very Eurocentric view of history as non-Christian nations like China and India weren't technology or socially superior than the so-called "stupid Christian nations," in fact their technology was more-or-less the same in quality with the Christians'.
